This is a short story about a girl who had her virtue stolen from her when men invaded their village. Her parents treat her as if she were a slave. One day she is taken from her village for reasons unknown to her. This book has a lot of emphasis on her discipline. Due to her sassy side, she ends up over Sir Williams knee more then once. All she wants to know is why was she taken from her village. Sir William wants her to trust him, but how can she trust someone she doesn't know.This book had the potential of being a full blown novel. This book was well written and the story line was good. We get a little bit of a beginning, middle and a very quick ending. I think the author ended this book to quickly. You get to the part where its just getting really good and it ends. The only reason why I was disappointed was because the book wasn't longer. This author has great potential
Overall, I did like this book. It was a quick read. I would like to see more from this author in the future.

This was an ok story, but seemed a little rushed. Many details were left out or just left to the imagination. In many parts of the story it seemed that there could have been way more details, or better description, to make a stronger story. There's a good read here, but after some adjustments to the story.
This story was very different than what I expected. There are so many layers to Anna's story. I don't want to say any more because I don't want to spoil anything.
